The former world welterweight champion Ricky Hatton has admitted that he try to commit suicide because of the depression after his lost against the 8-division world champion Manny Pacquiao last 2009. after the bitter defeat by Pacquiao, The British Boxer Ricky Hatton had fell into depression that became a cause of his addiction to alcohol and drugs and also the reason of the end of his boxing carrier.
According to Hatton, he is very depressed and cried over the defeat until he just think of suicide. Because of this he turn to became an alcoholic and decided to retired becuase he cannot accept the pain of defeat at the hands of pound-for-pound king.
