Mexican boxer Fernando Montiel is currently the WBO and WBC Bantamweight champion and rated as the number seven pound-for-pound boxer by The Ring. Fernando Montiel has a professional boxing record of won 43 (KO 33) + lost 2 (KO 0) + drawn 2 = 47.

Watch Donaire vs Montiel fight, Freddie Roach warned Nonito regarding Montiel. The boxing trainer said that Donaire must not take the fight so lightly because Montiel knows the way to win. The coach gave Donaire a 50/50 chance of winning the title. He further added that the boxer is at high risk of being knocked out by Montiel. Donaire will most likely lose in the ring by knockout. The Filipino boxer said that after the Donaire vs Montiel fight, he plans to move up to a higher division – 122 pound division – where he will be a threat to anybody.
